Nevada Gaming Board postpones approving gaming license for new management of Reno Hilton hotel-casin

License Approval Postponed for Reno Hilton Management

Nevada Gaming Board has postponed the license approval for a new manager of Reno Hilton hotel-casino, explaining it by not fully securing financing to by the property from the part of a new owner Grand Sierra Resort Corporation.

The developer of the project claims that this delay will not affect plans to buy the hotel-casino and to turn it into a hotel-condominium-casino resort with a number of towers and the largest indoor water park in the United States.

Grand Sierra Resort Corporation management claims to be prepared to pay 150 million dollars to buy the Hilton hotel-casino from its current owner Harrah’s Entertainment.
