Young Winner in Online Poker Tournament

The 19 years old student is too young to participate in the World Series of Poker.

19 years old, Jeremy Warshauer, came second in an online poker tournament. The second place gained him a seat at the World Series of Poker, which will take place at Harrahs Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas this summer.

Jeremy Warshauer who graduated from San Marcos high school in 2004 never visited a casino in his life. According to Warshauer, he learned to play poker in high school but did not practice the game until college. Being only 19, he is not old enough to participate in the tournament. Nevada gambling rules require from gamblers to be at least 21.

Warshauer was offered 10,000 dollars cash equivalent of his seat in the tournament. He plans to save most of his prize, though he said he intends to spend some of it on gambling. He does not attend to visit Las Vegas in the near future, but he says he will probably get there after turning 21.
